Science-Based Approach to World Peace

New scientific knowledge has corresponding technological applications. The remarkable discoveries of modern quantum physics now offer the knowledge for peaceful methods of conflict resolution to secure lasting peace for the family of nations.

The scientific progress and technological advancements throughout the ages have led to progressively more sophisticated methods of defence for protecting the citizens of a city or a country from the threat of attack. However, so far virtually no government has adopted a scientific methodology to eliminate the root cause of enmity to prevent the birth of hostility. Moreover, in the past—and even today—all methods of protection and defence were based on narrow, diversified aspects of the knowledge of Natural Law. This utilization of fragmented knowledge of modern science has led to all kinds of destructive weaponry for defence and ultimately to the highly dangerous concept of preventing attacks through the threat of nuclear retaliation that could annihilate the whole world population.

This presently prevailing focus on destructive defence technologies and the strategy of threatening any potential enemy for the purpose of national defence, however, has become highly questionable. Even the most powerful nations have become fully aware that their destructive military arsenal cannot protect their country from serious attacks and terrorists' activities.

For this reason, now is the time to investigate and also to apply powerful scientific principles of constructive —non-destructive—means of conflict resolution, principles to create a state of harmony and peace in the family of nations.

The present document explains that modern science is now able to provide unique and powerful principles for enlightened defence. Moreover, this treatise also presents the successful defence technologies and holistic methods for conflict resolution that are based on these fundamental scientific principles, and that contrast with the currently practised, unsatisfactory methods for conflict resolution which rely on negotiations and diplomatic courtesy. In addition, this document shows that these holistic defence technologies have already been tested in real conflict situations and have been validated by numerous and rigorous scientific research studies.
